ABOUT
At Wildlife Untrained we are bound to educate students about wildlife conservation, ecology, and biodiversity through an immersive experience in a national park, this we achieve through our ‘WOW’ (way of working) factor and program orientation in which we cover introduction to wildlife conservation and park rules. This unique program curios them about the stewardship of natural resources through our guided hike to explore the park's ecosystem and safari tour to spot diverse wildlife, interactive sessions on animal behaviour, habitats, and adaptation, conservation efforts and success stories from renowned wildlife experts. Experts also enlighten them for better understanding of wildlife ecology, conservation, appreciation for biodiversity and ecosystems, to learn about wildlife tracking and monitoring techniques, birdwatching and identification, camera trap setup, wildlife photography and documentation and much more.
We engage them with community through visit to a local conservation organization, interaction with park rangers, naturalists, and conservationists to have discussion on human-wildlife conflict and mitigation strategies. Also, we do recap and reflection on the experience, we ask their action plan for personal conservation efforts, post-program assessments to measure knowledge gain, feedback forms to evaluate program effectiveness and follow-up activities to encourage continued learning and conservation efforts.
