ABOUT
Soft Skills are an important aspect for overall development of the child. These refer to wide-ranging personal and interpersonal skills which are intangible and difficult to define, observe and measure. Soft Skills are important skills to have so that it is easy to communicate, translate it into action, lead from the front, listen, understand the other’s point of view, and empathise with others.
As per the global recommendations, even the WHO outlines a module of 10 important skills to be a part of the learning curriculum in the schools: These include life skills like self-awareness, decision making, problem-solving, creative thinking, critical thinking, empathy, coping with emotions and stress; and soft skills like communication and interpersonal skills.
With the early introduction of skills in the schools, it is easy to say that it plays a very important part in the overall development of the child. When the child learns how to communicate clearly, he / she not only gains considerable confidence, but his / her academic performance is also considerably improved.
Safarnaama has researched it in the level of seeing the transformation in the soft skills as the personality comes out from the simulations through outdoors.
