At Wildlife Untrained we are bound to educate students about wildlife conservation, ecology, and biodiversity through an immersive experience in a national park, this we achieve through our ‘WOW’ (way of working) factor and program orientation in which we cover introduction to wildlife conservation and park rules. This unique program curios them about the stewardship of natural resources through our guided hike to explore the park’s ecosystem and safari tour to spot diverse wildlife, interactive sessions on animal behaviour, habitats, and adaptation, conservation efforts and success stories from renowned wildlife experts. Experts also enlighten them for better understanding of wildlife ecology, conservation, appreciation for biodiversity and ecosystems, to learn about wildlife tracking and monitoring techniques, birdwatching and identification, camera trap setup, wildlife photography and documentation and much more. We engage them with community through visit to a local conservation organization, interaction with park rangers, naturalists, and conservationists to have discussion on human-wildlife conflict and mitigation strategies. Also, we do recap and reflection on the experience, we ask their action plan for personal conservation efforts, post-program assessments to measure knowledge gain, feedback forms to evaluate program effectiveness and follow-up activities to encourage continued learning and conservation efforts.

WALKING SAFARI IN HIMALAYAN WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES

At Wildlife Untrained a walking safari in the Himalayan Mountain wildlife sanctuaries is one of our educational programs, we have ever discovered for school students as another wildlife education program. WSHWS program offers a unique and thrilling experience of spotting wildlife and opportunity to understand the ecosystem and the importance of the Himalayas. We consider the months of October, November and March, April as the best time for the students, when the weather is mild and clear, making it ideal for spotting wildlife. Our guided walking safari with licensed, experienced naturalists and guides provide safety by respecting manners & customs of local environment and wildlife, maintaining a safe distance from wildlife while spotting or watching them, acclimatizing for higher altitude, preparing for unpredictable harsh weather conditions, challenging terrains, and monitoring your health. Incredible journey in the breathtaking picturesque trails of the Himalayas and its incredible wildlife, will enlighten students with the wisdom of nature connection!

For example, we introduce students to the basic principles of flight, including concepts such as lift, thrust, and aerodynamics, through simple experiments and demonstrations. We explore how drones work, the different types of drones, and their real-world applications, such as in agriculture, photography, and delivery services. To foster practical skills, we guide students in safely operating mini drones, teaching them to navigate obstacles and perform basic manoeuvres. Through these activities, we aim to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for technology, while emphasizing the importance of safety and responsible use.
